Comedy Writer / Songwriter
Independent Contractor (part time)
Location: Los Angeles
PAY: $18-$25 per hour
Create Art is seeking a comedy writer who is personable, flexible, extraordinarily creative, punctual, and collaborative to work closely with our client to co-write musical comedy songs.
The ideal candidate should be very familiar with Black culture, Black history, and politics. As well as song composition and lyrical structures.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
We welcome those who have a degree as well as those without traditional training.
Experience in comedy and sketch comedy writing.
Experience in songwriting. Must be familiar with various genres.
Submissions that do not include a portfolio will not be considered. Portfolio must contain at least one comedy song or music video written by candidate.
